About WattByte
WattByte is building a clearer way to understand how devices consume energy, battery power and network data.
We know how much battery we have left. But how much energy have we actually consumed?
Every day, billions of devices draw energy and move data. The people using them mostly see the basics: a battery percentage, a count of gigabytes used this month.
What that activity costs, how much energy it really represents and how it changes over time is harder to see. The figures exist, but they are scattered across system settings, expressed in units nobody uses, or not shown at all.
WattByte exists to change that relationship with the data. It brings the measurements the operating system already provides, energy estimates based on the device itself, regional electricity prices and readable analysis into one place.
Our mission is to turn complex device consumption data into clear, accessible and actionable information.
Complex measurements should be easy to understand.
Better information helps people make more informed decisions about technology.
Users should understand their own data and decide how to use it.
Users deserve clear information about how their devices behave and how measurements are calculated.
Personal usage data deserves careful handling, clear permissions and meaningful user control.
Estimates should be identified as estimates. Measurements should be presented with appropriate context and limitations.
Powerful technology should not require users to understand complex technical terminology.

Insight
Your energy use was approximately 18% higher than your recent average. Most of the increase occurred between 14:00 and 17:00.

Example data. Not a real user.
We believe the next generation of device analytics should go beyond showing raw numbers. It should help people understand what those numbers mean.
No release dates here on purpose. Each of these ships when it is real.
The organization behind WattByte
WattByte is a product developed within the ATLASHC technology ecosystem, focused on creating useful, modern digital experiences.
Explore ATLASHC(opens atlashc.pl in a new tab)WattByte is developed independently, by a small team that also owns the decisions: what gets measured, what gets stored and what the app says about it.

Privacy is a design input, not a page added at the end. These are the rules the implementation follows.
The privacy policy lists every value the app stores and every value that can leave the phone, and when.
Each system permission is explained on screen before the system prompt, and the optional ones can be declined.
Cloud sync is off by default. The account, with everything attached to it, can be deleted from inside the app.
A value calculated from the battery level or a design capacity is marked as an estimate, in the app and in exports.
Raw samples and per-app usage never leave the phone. Sync uploads one row of totals per day, nothing more.
The future of WattByte
We’re building WattByte to make device energy and data consumption easier to understand. Follow our progress and be part of what’s next.
